“Resonanzen” is a festival of Black German-language literature initiated by the writer Sharon Dodua Otoo. Sharon Dodua Otoo collaborated with the Ruhrfestspiele to create the first intervention “Resonanzen – Schwarzes Literaturfestival”, which took place in 2022. Since then, she has conceived and curated two further events – with Patricia Eckermann – and edited the corresponding publication with Jeannette Oholi and the Ruhrfestspiele.
For the second edition, we worked together to create bookmarks featuring quotes from the festival’s protagonists.
